I commute for work across Germany, Europe and at times through the USA.

I was born in Hanover in 1958. After graduating from high school, an apprenticeship as an insurance clerk, I studied at the University of Hanover, also through my many years of experience as a competitive athlete (800m run), sports and German studies for a higher teaching position.

In order to finance my studies, I started modeling at the same time in 1978 and very quickly discovered my passion for this job.

Due to what was known as the “teacher glut” at the time, there were too many teachers after my studies and it was difficult to get a job.

I stuck to modeling.

My marriage to a soccer player gave me a bit of a celebrity status in Hanover, which was undoubtedly an advantage for my career. My marriage broke up when the kids were little.

I initially turned down international modeling jobs because I didn't want to leave my two children alone. But the model jobs have become more and more numerous over the years, now more than 40 years, so that I can still make a good living from them in my freelance, self-employed work.

I commute for work across Germany, Europe and at times through the USA.

As a senior model, I'm now starting again, accompanied by television appearances, e.g. on ZDF and SAT1 on the subject of "model and age". I'm not thinking about quitting for a long time, because shows, fittings, photos, shoots, TV, the camera and my colleagues are my life.

I spend my free time with my family and friends and love to do sports (boot camp, EMS, inline skating, mobility training) as a balance. Skiing in winter is a "MUST".

Professionalism, authenticity, having fun are my strengths and one thing is clear to me, as long as my health is good, I consider my job a privilege and stay on the "boards that mean the world" to me.

Maggie about aging

Age?

I call it advanced life!

And with the words of David Bowie…

“Aging is an extraordinary process where you become the person you always should have been
